• NWATA welcomes the addition of the following committee chair positions:
  
  Secondary Schools – Rick O’Leary of Bishop Blanchet HS in Seattle.   Rick comes with years of experience at the secondary schools venue and an excitement that is contagious.  “Being selected as the District 10 representative to the SSATC would be both a humbling honor and a commitment I would take seriously. If selected, I would work diligently to be a conduit for information (traveling in both directions) between the secondary schools membership our district and the national committee, and to promote the secondary school setting throughout the district.”
  
  Hall of Fame/Honors and Awards – Greg Hill of Linfield College in McMinnville, OR.  Greg has been on the Hall of Fame committee in Oregon Athletic Trainers’ Society, and previously was the chair of the Memorials and Resolutions  committee.   We are excited to have him involved!

                  Ethnic and Diversity Committee  - David Strickland, Oregon State University.   “Being a young professional as well as a person of color from the Pacific Northwest, I have developed an appreciation for diversity in a vocation where our clientele often represent varied cultures and backgrounds. Becoming a member of a professional committee geared toward promoting diversity in the profession that has given me so much would be an honor and a privilege.”    David is certainly going to be an asset to the NWATA!
